The New York Times

The New York Times appears in Real-World Onion Sites, a public list maintained by Alec Muffett of established organisations that run an onion service, under “News”. The list currently records 2 onion services for it and only includes sites that can show a link between the onion address and the organisation.

The list records the proof as a certificate issued to the organisation for its onion address rather than a clearnet page, so availability is not checked automatically.

Where an official address is on file it is shown on this profile with its source; compare it with the organisation's own site before relying on it.
